ARTIST - EDUCATION SPECIALIST AND CHOREOGRAPHER
Devoted to the art of dance and the improvement of living conditions, Monique Goyer, performer, choreographer and professor, has acquired more than 35 years of experience in the field as a professional artist. Graduated from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, educational researcher and specialized in the art of teaching to children, she has achieved many accomplishments within numerous training institutions. She is responsible for the inception of many artistic organisations such as the Conservatoire de Danse de Montréal where she dedicated herself to just as much at the level of the Professional Training Program than the artistic and administrative level. Her enthusiasm for the scene and creation leads her to the choreographing of numerous children's ballets, contemporary oeuvres for dance students, 56 video clips for the renowned Caillou character, the coaching of actors and other professionals in various dancing scenes for the television and movie industry. Her optimistic vision of the world of teaching drives her to write a manifesto on the art of education of dance to the young public, which is currently used as the groundwork for the formation of future professors.
