MARIANE LABONTÉ
VISUAL ARTS ARTIST
Dedicated dance student since her younger years, Mariane Labonté is drawn by the scenography and the visual aspect of the show. Graduated high school with a concentration in Arts, a college degree in Fine Art, she obtained a Bachelor's degree for teaching Visual Arts from the Quebec University in Montreal. She completes her educational program with optional courses in photography, photomechanical, screen printing, resin and plastics, computer graphics and building technology. From 2005 until now, she partakes in the conception, creation, installation and management of all decorations and accessories for shows and choreographies created by Monique Goyer. She worked for Danse-Atelier Monique Goyer, the Conservatoire de danse de Montréal and presently, le Ballet Théâtral de Montréal. She's hired by the Comission scolaire de Laval for teaching Visual Arts at the high school level and participates in numerous projects of artistic and collective nature meant to enrich the knowledge of youths about teamwork.
